Everything Wudora builds is furniture — factory-made, delivered and fitted. We do not take on civil work, plumbing, electrical or renovation, so nothing about your project depends on a contractor we don't control.

Modular kitchens

Straight, L, U, parallel, island and G-shape layouts. Base, wall and tall units with soft-close hardware, planned around your hob, sink and window before a single panel is cut.

Wardrobes & bedroom

Sliding, hinged, walk-in and corner wardrobes with lofts, drawer banks, mirror fronts and internal organisers — sized floor-to-ceiling so no dust ledge is left on top.

Ready-to-move furniture

BWR plywood, not particle board

Boiling-water-resistant grade throughout the carcass — the same board in the kitchen sink cabinet as in the bedroom wardrobe. Cross-laminated veneers hold a screw and survive a leak; particle board does neither.

1 mm laminate, every exposed face

Not 0.8, not 0.7. A full millimetre on shutters, shelves and visible sides, so edges resist chipping and the surface survives daily wiping.

2 mm PVC edge banding

Machine-pressed on all four edges of every shutter and shelf. Water never reaches the core through an open edge.

Soft-close hardware

Hinges, telescopic channels and sliding gear rated for daily cycling, with a written warranty on the mechanism.

Factory-cut, site-fitted

Panels are cut, banded and pre-drilled on CNC. Your home sees assembly and levelling only — no cutting, no dust, no carpenter camped in the hall.

Premium finishing

Shutter gaps set to a consistent reveal, handles aligned on a single line, and a final polish and inspection before we ask you to sign off.

You approve the drawings and the itemised quote. That price is the price.

Day 5–17

Factory build

CNC cutting, edge banding, hardware fitting and quality check before dispatch.

Day 18–20

Fit on site

Delivery, assembly, levelling, alignment and handover — with the site left clean.

Questions

Before you enquire.

Is the 20 days from my first call?

It runs from the day you approve the drawings and the quote — day 4 in the schedule above. Measurement and design happen before that clock starts, and they usually take three to four days depending on how quickly finishes are chosen.

Why BWR plywood and not MDF or particle board?

BWR ply is cross-laminated with a boiling-water-resistant adhesive. It holds screws under repeated load, tolerates the humidity of a kitchen or a coastal city, and survives the occasional leak. MDF and particle board swell and lose their grip once water reaches the core — which, in a wardrobe on an outside wall, is a question of when.

What does 1 mm laminate actually change?

Thickness is what resists chipping at the edges and abrasion on the face. Thinner laminates telegraph every imperfection in the board underneath and wear through at handle points within a few years. A full millimetre costs a little more per sheet and lasts considerably longer.

Can I get just one wardrobe, or is there a minimum order?

A single wardrobe or one bed is a perfectly normal Wudora order. Whole-home projects get planned together, but nothing obliges you to buy more than the one thing you need.

Do you handle the civil and electrical work?

No — deliberately. We build and fit furniture. Keeping civil and electrical out of our scope is what lets us hold a 20-day promise, because none of our dates depend on a mason or a wireman. We will coordinate with yours.

How firm is the estimate on this page?

Treat it as a range, not a quote. It uses your rough sizes and standard specification. The measured quote after the site visit is itemised unit by unit, and that is the one we hold to.
